SPRING RAIN PERFORMANCE ( 2013 )
Spring Rain is a solo performance set in street-side windows or foyers. During the 20 minute event, I am slowly buried in a rain of plastic bottles found in the locale of the performance site. My only physical task is to keep myself from being buried: to stay above the rising tide of plastic. This work was inspired by images of the North Pacific plastic gyre. The performance can leave behind a window installation / projection.
