A collaboration with Bruxell based visual artist Syvestre Gobart and artist and choreographer Joshua Bisset.
Shot in Detroit during one day in September 2013 the film questions the intent of the two protagonists.

WHITE OAKS (2009)
Shot during a dance residency at White Oak, a hybrid dance and African animal conservationist center on a former paper plantation and country club in rural Florida. This work uses subtle movement interactions to illuminate the natural environment and its complex background story. Joshua Bisset and Laura Quattrocchi decided to work with the odd environment rather than the dance studio in collaboration with Filmmaker Diana Quinones Rivera, dqrfilms.com

ABSORB (2008)

ABSORB is a collaboration with Filmmaker Diana Quinones Rivera www.dqrfilms.com
Diana has been following my site exploration since the beginning and made several short films out of it. This specific site is located in Jersey City in a polluted area under Environmental Investigation. This specific exploration led to development of my site specific work Environmental Investigation after the warehouse was demolished. This is a trailer for the 20 minute film.

WASTE PARK (2010)

WASTE PARK FOLLOWS THE ABSORB EXPLORATION AFTER THE WAREHOUSE WAS DEMOLISHED. THE SCENE HAS CHANGED. SKATERS AND BIKERS RECLAIMED THE SPACE WITH THEIR CREATIVITY USING THE TRASH FROM THE DEMOLITION TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURES FOR THEIR PLAY. THE PERFORMANCE THAT I DEVELOPED FROM THIS EXPLORATION IS LATER CALLED ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION AND WASTE PARK IS THE PRECURSOR OF THAT.
