INSTALLATIONs
3026 Fenkell St, Detroit
March 2019 - present. Ongoing visual/sound Installation This installation involves daily walks in the neighborhood I live in Detroit ( Hope Village ) where I collect all kinds of discarded items. In this case I am collecting bottles ( mainly buzz bottles ). During the process a lot of happens, like people start bringing me bottles, kids want to help me, vandalism, and plenty conversations. The installation is a slow accumulation as I place every few days more bottles or replace the one that are vandalized with new ones. |

Poolastic
Shua Group Poolastic is an interactive installation initiated by construction of a pool and the burying of a performer by plastic bottles collected locally. When the pool is full the artists announce "the pool is now open", and the public responds. None of the actions in the photos or video are scripted. The work was presented by Spread Art at Bushwick Open Studios, 2013 and 2014 and Middlebury College in 2015 and The Rochester Fringe Festival. |
